The Campbell Family goes to Disney

We went to Disney in March of this year, thanks to my Mom and Stepdad- a.k.a. Mimi and Granddad. The children had fun and we were fully exhausted. My Aunt Cindy, Uncle Mike and Cousins Monica and Alyssa went too. Bill and I got to ride a few "adult" rides with the girls! Funny enough, Hannah enjoyed the characters sooooo much. She couldn't get enough of kissing their noses. Bill, Liam and I waited for 30+ minutes while my Mom stood in line and let her take up all the other children's time with Minnie Mouse. Liam's favorite event was riding roller coasters and the Safari trucks and seeing the Lion King show at Animal Kingdom. That by far, was our most favorite park at Disney. We'll definitely go back, but we may need a little more rest!

Liam's Third Birthday

It's hard to believe that Liam turned three last month. He had a great time with 12 friends at his "farm" party. We were supposed to have had farm animals visit during the party, but the animal handlers called an hour before the party to say their trailer had been hit while traveling to our house on I-85. I think I was more disappointed than anyone else. The children were playing with farm animal beanie babies and stick horses that my mom brought. We also had a barn. Liam and his BFF Anderson ate at least a whole bag of chex mix during the party! Happy Birthday Liam!

Ode to the Potty

On top of my potty
I sit and I wait
I know what I'm making...
Is going to be great!

So, Liam is almost potty trained... Yes, that's right, the biggest thing for us to blog about is our 1st child's dry pull-up. We've experienced a couple days of almost all dryness. We've had many accidents too; but two times, in public, Liam has said: "Mommy, I need to go pee pee on the potty." Once was at the Dr.'s office just as I stripped him down to get his check-up. The second was at the grocery store when I had a full cart. Great timing, but we'll take the success wherever it comes! I figure we're 0 for 0 between the successes and the accidents. I asked him to go sit on the potty when he woke up yesterday morning and he exclaimed, "I went to the potty yesterday." Stay tuned for full success!
