Thankful Thursday

Liam's 1st school performance was tonight. He was fantastic of course! Bill got him on video and Hannah Clare was his biggest fan. She had a hard time staying in her seat as I opened the performance and said the prayer and then she was pointing and calling to Liam when she saw him come into the sanctuary. The children sang 5 songs including "Thank you Father" (pictured) and "Five Fat Turkeys."

Standing next to Liam is his friend Carson who told her mommy that she was going to marry Liam in China and then they were going to Costa Rica for their honeymoon. We certainly approve, especially of the honeymoon trip, since we're all invited!

Halloween 2008

Well, this was the longest holiday ever! We started decorating for Halloween on October 1 and planned for weeks prior! On October 5, we went to the Pre-Boo at the Zoo Bash. We went as the Incredibles Family. Bill was a little bummed about going in spandex, but when we got a lot of compliments, he was feeling a little more cool.

The next party was on October 25... Zimmerween. Our street has a party each year and this year we closed off half of the street. There was a chili cook-off and the children watched the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown projected on a sheet. Liam was mesmerized!

Halloween night was a lot of fun too. Our good friends, the Wise family came over sans Amy and their new baby girl Isabel, but Anderson, his dad Drayton, his Grandfather Tom and uncle Thomas came over for dinner, drinks and a lot of laughs. The children were running, screaming, eating candy and having way too much fun!

Bill's 20th High School Reunion

The Clan went to New Jersey for Bill's big 20th reunion. Liam and Hannah Clare had fun terrorizing Nana and PopPop's house. On Saturday, we all went to Norz Hill Farm Fall Festival and had a blast. Aunt Kerry found out about this place and it was a find! We went on a hay ride to the barn area and saw the extensive herd of Dairy Cows.
They milk a little over 200 cows twice a day. We even got to see some babies that were anywere from 2 days to 3 weeks old. Very precious! Liam loved feeding them and Hannah Clare got into it as well. The funniest thing we saw was a Zonkey- part donkey/part zebra.

The reunion was a lot of fun too, but thanks to very late night, we had a rough flight back! It didn't help that Hannah was running fever. Those illnesses always come at the right time... Oh the memories!
